SUMMARY:

This is a research project in the area of Education, carried out by the Graduate Program in Education - PPGE of the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasília - FE/UnB, in the line of research: Teaching Profession, Curriculum and Assessment (PDCA), and its guiding question is: what are the perceptions of graduates about the training they received in the Pedagogy course to work as teachers in Early Childhood Education and in the initial years of Elementary School? The general objective is to analyze the perceptions of graduates about the training they received in the Pedagogy course to work as teachers in Early Childhood Education and in the initial years of Elementary School. The methodological path of the research involves the following procedures: bibliographical research, application of an online questionnaire, interviews and analysis of the collected data. The qualitative approach will be prioritized. The subjects to be approached will be graduates of the Pedagogy course at Unimontes. Data analysis is supported by content analysis. The main authors are: Teacher Training / Pedagogy: Saviani (2017), Brzezinski (2002), Charlot (2013), Nóvoa (2020), Contreras (2002), Veiga (2014); Knowledge / Curriculum: Tardiff (2014), Imbernón (2016), Machado (2020), Silva (2022), Sacristán (2017), Apple (2006), Goodson (2008); Graduates: Felicetti (2011, 2019). We believe that the results of the research will have scientific and social importance, providing a reflection on initial training, to the Structuring Teaching Nucleus - NDE, coordination and teachers of the Pedagogy course at Unimontes, as well as enabling pedagogical contributions for changes in the Pedagogical Project of the course and in the initial training process
