Visual arts class in elementary education II of a public school in the federal district: meanings constituted by student

Entitled “Visual arts class in elementary school II at a public school in the Federal District: meanings constituted by students”, this research project aims to analyze the didactic organization of the Visual Arts class and its repercussions on the development of the creative process and making artistic performance of students in the final years of elementary school at a public school located in the administrative region of Samambaia. The methodology, of a qualitative nature, embodied in the discussions and approaches developed by Dialectical Historical Materialism (MHD), based on the writings of Marx (1982), Netto (2011), Húngaro (2008) and Cury (1989). The following will be used for data production: documentary analysis of the Federal District's Curriculum in Movement (2018), and the Common National Curricular Base (2017); observation of art classes; semi-structured interviews with teachers; and discussion group with students. The data will be organized using the Meaning Cores of Aguiar and Ozella (2014). In theoretical constructions about work and pedagogical work, we use: Saviani (2007), and Fuentes and Ferreira (2017); in Libâneo (2013), Silva (2014), Veiga (2008) and Saviani (2021) to discuss the didactic organization of the class and in the texts and productions of Barbosa (2019), Vigotsky (2018) and Saccomani (2016) regarding the art class and creative activity. It is expected to understand from the results the influence that the didactic organization of the class has on the creative activities of students in visual arts classes
