SUMMARY:

The present research proposal has as general objective: to analyze the structure of the curriculum, at the levels prescribed and practiced (SACRISTÁN, 2000), in the education of young people, adults and the elderly in a public school of teaching of the Federal District. Enriching our analysis we add the following specific objectives: to characterize EJAI, to understand the teaching training of EJAI and To identify the reasons for the absence of a specific Curriculum for EJAI. We have as an initial assumption of investigation the idea that there seems to be a certain lack of interest in the construction of effective public policies for EJA, as well as the same lack of interest in formulating a Curriculum focused on the specificities of students of this modality. In this way we bring the following central research question "How is the curriculum structured, at the levels prescribed (SACRISTÁN, 2000) and practiced, in the Education of Youth and Adults in a public school of the Federal District?". We discuss the historical trajectory of this modality in Brazil, the public policies and legislation of education aimed at EJAI, and the training of teachers who work in this modality. The research also brings as methodology the single study (YIN, XXX) of a case of a theoretical lens with approximations with the philosophical conception of Dialectical Historical Materialism of Karl Marx (1974), followed by Saviani with his theory of Critical Historical Pedagogy (2012). Our theoretical contribution remains sustained, Malachen (2016) and Silva (2018; 2021).
