Freedom cried out! What about now? A study of public policies of egresses of the social education system of the Federal District
Education; ; educational measures; public policy.
The general objective of this research is to contribute to the construction of knowledge about the formulation of Public Policies aimed at promoting egresses from the socio-educational system of the Federal District. Through an integrated set of educational theory and methodology permeated by living in deprivation of liberty and by the artistic languages constructed in such a condition, people are transformed. Three specific objectives guide the work: (1) Knowing the socio-biographical profile of adolescents who come into conflict with the law. Who are the youth from the hood that pull a sentence and where did they come from?; (2)Understand the role of art as a political and pedagogical language for the social and harmonious coexistence of adolescents who are serving a measure in the socio-educational system of the Federal District. (3) Identify public policies for egresses of socio-educational internment measures in the Federal District, analyzing the place that culture and education occupy in the elaboration and execution of these policies. The methodology used in the research presents a qualitative character, privileging elements of autobiography and documental analysis based on an empirical study, using sets of data, constituted by autobiographical narratives (diaries and poems written during the hospitalization period), which portray the experiences resulting from the deprivation of liberty. The second consists of reports, books and book chapters produced in the work of workshops and social intervention in formal and non-formal education environments: adolescent detention units, public schools, universities and cultural events.
