The continuing education of elementary school teachers from public schools in the Federal District and the use of technologies from the perspective of inclusive education

SUMMARY:

This study, within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGE), research line Education, Technologies and Communication (ETEC) of the Faculty of Education (FE) of the University of Brasília (UnB), aims to analyze the continuing education of elementary school teachers in public schools in the Federal District (DF). The analysis will be based on continuing education actions with the use of technologies from the perspective of inclusive education, carried out by the State/public service of the DF, in the time frame of the last five years. The creation of a Discussion Group of SEEDF teachers will be proposed to hold discussions and take notes on the observed reality in order to highlight the possible contributions or not of the continuing education actions carried out by the State/public service of the DF, with the aim of relating them to the mediation of the teaching-learning process of students with disabilities in elementary school. In this sense, a qualitative research will be carried out with the following data collection strategies: document analysis, questionnaire and Discussion Group, with records in a logbook. The results of the study will be anchored in the perspective of Bardin's content analysis (2016) and in the adaptation of Franco (2018) and will seek to highlight the contributions of the courses, lectures and other training actions identified by the subjects, promoted by the State/public service of the DF in the last five years, as well as the synthesis of the discussions of the Discussion Group on the continuing education of teachers and their pedagogical mediations with the intentional use of technologies to promote the learning of students with specific educational needs and, consequently, from the perspective of education for all.
