FROM TEXTBOOKS TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: THE WORK OF TEACHERS IN THE USE OF TEACHING RESOURCES IN BASIC EDUCATION
teaching work; alienation; teaching resources; proletarianisation; school education.
There is a fetish that digital education and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will improve the quality of education or even replace teachers' work, but since the organisation of education in modern times, teachers have used educational technology, such as textbooks, and their labour has not ceased to be essential. Teaching resources are educational instruments that are the result of the objectification of teachers' work, which reproduces the social organisation of capitalism. The concealment of this reality suggests that educational problems are related to the conditions of alienation in which teachers carry out their work. Through materialist, historical and dialectical research, we will investigate through semi-structured interviews whether teachers are aware of their reality, whether they are able to overcome it and whether they are willing to recover their autonomy
