Memories and stories: female students' journey in young adult and adult education, from abandonment to return

This research aims to understand, based on the memories and stories of adult women in Youth and Adult Education, the meanings attributed to the return to school life, identifying to what extent schooling contributes to overcoming gender inequalities and problems social. The investigation is qualitative in nature, through narrative interviews. This method enables active listening to subjects who have experienced a certain experience, through. Reconstruction of social events from the interviewee's perspective. The treatment of the data obtained will be analyzed according to Schutze's proposal, based on content analysis. And the main theoretical assumptions are those of Paulo Freire, Maria Clarisse Vieira, Sueli Carneiro, Heleieth Saffiote, Lélia Gonzalez, Angela Davis, Mary Del Priore and Maria Helena Bastos.
