SUMMARY:

The thesis project that we present in this research will be developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program of the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasília (UnB). The research aims to understand the praxis that contribute to socially necessary work in the production and appreciation of life from graduates of degrees in rural education - LEdoC - UnB in a rural school linked to the Landless Rural Workers Movement - MST - MT, seeking to understand the training and work carried out by these graduates in their territories, from the perspective of transformative praxis. To discuss this issue, we intend to approach the research locus that will be the Madre Cristina State School, located in the Roseli Nunes Settlement in the municipality of Mirassol D’Oeste- MT. We will use the epistemological references of Historical-Dialectical Materialism (MHD) to develop the research, guided by the challenge of anchoring the methods of scientific analysis based on the reality of the territories researched and in praxis. The approach will be qualitative research, characterized as action research. By carrying out this research, we hope to expand knowledge about Peasant Teaching and the praxis that contribute to socially necessary work in the production of life and appreciation of knowledge and peasant culture, as well as understanding the challenges and struggles that permeate Rural Education in the State of Mato Grosso.
