SUMMARY:

This thesis project proposes to discuss, in the light of Vygotsky's Historical-Cultural Theory, the relationship between children and art, in the defense that in culture, children relate to music, attributing emotional meanings to it. With this, it intends to point out ways in which the child's experience with art in the educational space of the school can be centered on the field of affections. Theoretically and methodologically, the research will be developed under the assumptions of the pedological method proposed by Vygotsky. The intention is to carry out empirical research, in which the researcher will also be the organizer of the school's educational space, which will have art as an educational activity, based on music as an artistic expression. In this way, she will seek to gain an in-depth understanding of the child-art relationship, making observations and dialogues about the aesthetic experiences made possible by the research. In the end, we hope to demonstrate the proposed thesis and point out possible ways of organizing musical educational spaces for affective experiences.
