SUMMARY:

This research is part of the Teaching Profession, Curriculum and Assessment Line (TPCA), of the Graduate Program in Education at the University of Brasília, and its main objective is to understand the process of professionalization of Basic Education teachers based on the fundamentals and mechanisms of privatization of the Private Apparatuses of Hegemony, identifying and characterizing their performance in the Brazilian state education networks, from 2010 to 2020. The privatization movements in public education have advanced intensely in recent years, reaching basic education, with great impacts, including in the teaching professional trajectory. Starting from the Gramscian referential and categories, we recognize the great relevance of education for the bourgeois Private Apparatuses of Hegemony (PAHs) and also a movement of entry of these PAHs as representatives of civil society that, with the intention and justification of improving the quality of teaching public, with managerial efficiency and privatist discourses, establish a public-private relationship with public education networks. In this relationship, business principles are shape and adapted with a view to managing education networks, enrollment offers to meet the needs of the public network, the induction of school curricula, also reaching the professional teaching activity. The research will be qualitative in nature, in which we will use documental analysis from the perspective of historical and dialectical materialism to understand reality. The route will initially take place through the literature review that will indicate the paths already taken in previous research on our object. Then, we will contextualize the historical moment with the main teacher professionalization policies intertwined in the privatization relations in teaching, demonstrating either a professionalization movement, or a deprofessionalization movement. Finally, we bring the analysis of the neoliberal privatist movement that has been constituted in recent years, as the main definer and guider of educational policies in our country.
