SUMMARY:

This research investigates zines that were elaborated by young students from a public high school in the Federal District with the objective of understanding the collective orientations of your producers, as well as, the representations about themselves and your social milieu. The theoretical and methodological reference of this investigation is anchored in the praxeological sociology of knowledge and the Documentary Method of image interpretation developed by Ralf Bohnsack. The first chapter of the research engages in understanding the historical function of zine production and its protesting role in the mainstream culture. The second chapter presents the theoretical and methodological reference of the Documentary Method, which is a study tool that provides an interpretative analysis not only of the image, but also of the social and generational context of insertion of its producers. Thus, it is appropriate to access and understand the tacit knowledge of those who participate in these zine productions and their social interactions. The third chapter presents the corpus of the research, namely the zine project and the zines produced by young people. Finally, in the fourth chapter, an interpretative analysis will be exemplified with the use of an image from a zine on the theme of social networks. The use of this example will be to demonstrate the methodological aspects that allow us to reconstruct their experiences and their daily lives, as well as the plural relations among their pairs.
