"Trajectories of Black Educators in Youth and Adult Education in Montes Claros/MG"
Youth and Adult Education; Gender; Ethnic-Racial Relations; Black Women; Montes Claros.
This research studies the "Trajectories of Black Educators in Youth and Adult Education in Montes Claros/MG" between 2000 and 2023. Youth and Adult Education is for people who did not study in childhood or adolescence. According to Paulo Freire, this education is inclusive and must offer complete training. Many black women faced difficulties accessing education and became educators, often under challenging conditions. The research aims to reconstruct the trajectory of these educators, their challenges and how they constructed identities related to gender and race, dealing with racism and discrimination. We use Oral History and other sources, such as personal documents and photographs, and the literature review is essential to understand issues of gender and ethnic-racial relations in youth and adult education
