ABSTRACT

 

This doctoral study aims to understand the curricular guidelines of the Pedagogy course at the Faculty of Education (FE) at the University of Brasilia, the perspective of initial training for inclusive education and the use of Digital Information and Communication Technology (DICT) in the pedagogical practice of its graduates in public schools in the Federal District. In this context, the research will seek to identify the extent to which the initial training of UnB pedagogues working in public education institutions in the Federal District has responded to the diversity of ways of learning of all students in the reality of classrooms. In this sense, it will be considered to identify the contribution of the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a guiding principle of the educational process, considering the diversity of learning styles present in everyday school life (SEBASTIÁN-HEREDERO, 2020; ZERBATO, 2018). Also consider the contribution of TDIC and Assistive Technology (AT), as a resource to support the teacher's pedagogical mediation in meeting the specific educational needs of students, aiming at their development and learning (BERSCHI & TONOLLI, 2021; GALVÃO FILHO, 2022). With a qualitative methodological approach, the research will use diversified strategies to collect data by mapping the pedagogues at UnB from 2019 to 2023, in professional practice as teachers in the public school system of the Federal District, applying questionnaires and then holding discussion groups with eligible subjects. Data analysis will be guided by the methodological assumptions of BARDIN's (2016) content analysis. The aim of this doctoral study is to better understand the reality, discuss and reflect on the contributions, not only of the national curriculum guidelines in initial training in the Pedagogy course at UnB, but above all the evidence raised about this training offered to these teachers to face the challenges in teaching, considering the diversity present in the classroom and the use of TDIC as a pedagogical resource, in order to provide a quality education for all students.
