SUMMARY:

Freudian ideas related to the defense of free psychoanalytic treatment and the history of the creation of the Unified Health System (SUS) in Brazil are based on the principle of defending health, as a fundamental public right, as well as ensuring that people have access to treatment humanized. Therefore, this study seeks to explore the convergences and divergences between these views, with an emphasis on the meanings constructed around access to education in pediatric units in the Federal District. We understand that Freud's ideas are related to contemporary policies that aim to promote the well-being of the population and the development of health systems, linked to education, that are more inclusive and accessible. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to analyze the perceptions of health professionals, based on psychoanalytic studies in the field of Education, focusing on the educational act and its (im)possible contributions in the hospital setting. Our reflections are established through the following question: what is the perception of health professionals about the educational act in the hospital setting and its (im)possible contributions? The research adopts a qualitative approach, using a phenomenological perspective to understand the perceptions of health professionals about the educational act in the hospital environment. The research is ongoing and, for this reason, the data presented in this partial version does not yet include an incursion into the research locus. Hospital pedagogical practice will be analyzed in light of the theoretical framework of psychoanalysis, seeking to understand how it can influence the position of the health team in relation to the subjectivity of hospitalized children and impact teamwork in pediatric units. Data will be collected through semi-structured interviews and participant observation, comprising Content Analysis, as an indispensable tool to elucidate possible repercussions on established relationships. The importance of articulations between the fields of Health and Education is understood, with a view to providing more humanized and inclusive care to hospitalized children, ensuring the continuity of their studies and a more assertive recovery.
