EMBERA INDIGENOUS PEOPLE IN COLOMBIA: WEAVING SEXUAL AND GENDER DISSENT FROM THE INSIDE

This project seeks to analyze and make visible two emblematic cases of recognition of gender and sexuality dissidence of two important trans leaders, by the authorities and Emberá indigenous community members in two reservations in Antioquia. Some elements of the context, the general and specific objectives, the justification and the main theoretical and methodological orientations for approaching the research question and the objectives are presented. At the end, the annexes are presented with a review of the literature on the subject.
