This thesis aims to investigate how text-based Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) technologies, specifically those based on Natural Language Processing, are being designed, developed or developed (in testing), and impact the judicial decision-making process and dispute resolution, using the case study and field analysis research method. The research is justified by the need to rethink and reflect on the institutional processes of administration and conflict management, from the perspective of the digital transformations that have been developing for some time in the Brazilian Judiciary, but which have gained specifications and customizations, with the introduction of foundational models and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI).
