The interpretation and application of the self-attribution thesis in legal proceedings after the judgment of ADI 3239 by the Federal Supreme Court: a case study from the quilombola fishing communities of Rio dos Macacos, São Francisco do Paraguaçu and Conceição de Salinas.

The thesis proposes to analyze the interpretation and application of the self-attribution thesis in legal proceedings of three communities in Recôncavo Baiano after the judgment of ADI 3239. This analysis will be carried out in dialogue with empirical research on quilombola communities, from the perspective of racial relations and , based on the narratives of the actors who question and the communities that contest based on the ways of living and relating to the waters in this space. The analysis of the narratives will take place through documentary ethnography for procedural analysis and participant-research of an ethnographic nature.
