The research analyzes how the concept or possession and private property were manipulated and underwent purposeful changes throughout the historical process that occupation fo the territory of Acre, in order to serve as instrument for legitimizing the currents land concentration. The thesis seeks to understand how the human occupation occurred in the territory of Acre and how the historical conceptions fo possession and private property contributes to this occupations.
