SUMMARY:
Having as a backdrop the dialogue between translation and psychoanalysis, this work sought to launch conjectures about the Lacanian movement in Brazil based on a critical analysis of The Seminary, which already puts us in the field of translating. The initial premise was based on the question of what would be the consequences of a work, whose publication process passed orally to an establishment and then to displacement. What would be the silent implications and effects of these movements on Lacanian theory on Brazilian soil? We tried to think about Jacques Lacan's teaching by practicing the crossroads based on his translations. Using principles that are tangential to Deleuze-Guattarian cartographic thinking, the work performed the movements of research in writing, subjectifying the object of study. Thus, the dissertation was divided into four moments: in the first, it opens a dialogue between translation and psychoanalysis in order to rescue psychoanalytic concepts in Bermanian translatology and thus propose that translation has the philosophical and epistemological apparatus to produce positive criticism, in addition to thinking other sectors of knowledge extraterritorially; in the second, it provides a contextualization of Jacques Lacan, his work and some issues that permeate the theme; in the third, it works on the territory of between, articulating both translation and psychoanalysis as fields whose most fundamental characteristic is the ability to connect with different spheres of knowledge, in addition to problematizing binary structures and colonial power relations; in the fourth, an account of the research process is presented, also addressing a turn that led the initial theme to new directions, leading to Lélia Gonzalez's contributions to psychoanalysis.
