SUMMARY:

The proposed research aims to investigate the chronological of vaccine hesitancy worldwide. Using GPT (Generative Pretrained Transformer) methodologies in sentiment analysis, this project aims to analyze news stories by filtering articles since 2009 using the keywords ‘vaccine,’ ‘vaccination,’ and ‘vaccines’ to study discussions on vaccine hesitancy. By collecting and analyzing news stories from different countries, such as The Guardian, Fox, CBS, and CBN, we aim to understand how public sentiment about vaccination has evolved over time and across different regions. This method helps us to understand the reasons behind the factors driving vaccine hesitancy, including misinformation, trust in health authorities, and cultural attitudes about vaccines. The ultimate goal of this project is to identify trends and patterns in vaccine sentiment, providing insights that can help improve public health strategies and communication efforts to combat vaccine hesitancy effectively.
